hey.i’m Hiba.
I work at the intersection of technology, startups, go-to-market strategy, and community-building. I create founder-led narratives, build partnerships, and design opportunities that help ambitious students and emerging builders grow.

a few things worth knowing
About Me
I’m a student at the Schulich School of Business interested in technology startups, go-to-market strategy, and venture capital. Most of my time is spent building communities, creating opportunities for students, and somehow agreeing to one more project than any reasonable person would recommend.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
I’ve been involved in volunteering since high school and received the Lieutenant Governor’s Community Volunteer Award, along with recognition from elected officials in Ontario. Volunteering was one of the earliest experiences that sparked my interest in community-building and taught me how to develop meaningful initiatives from 0 → 1 with lasting, measurable impact.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
During my first year at the Schulich School of Business, I maintained a 3.93 / 4.00 GPA while balancing internships, community initiatives, and student clubs focused on startup consulting and business technology. This experience strengthened my ability to manage competing priorities and execute consistently across academics, leadership, and career development.
CAREER & EDUCATION
My interests lie in technology startups, go-to-market strategy, and venture capital. At Schulich, I plan to pursue a dual specialization in Finance and Business Analytics, alongside a minor in Entrepreneurship, building a broad academic foundation for working with early-stage companies, understanding how they scale, and driving growth and innovation.
EVENT LEADERSHIP
Since high school, I’ve organized more than 30 events focused on technology, entrepreneurship, and community-building. My interest in event planning began with a cancer fundraiser and grew into hackathons, pitch competitions, and programs promoting inclusion in tech. Each experience taught me something new about building communities and why that work matters.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED
Community Initiatives
These initiatives were some of the earliest examples of the work that shaped my interest in building communities at the intersection of business and technology. They taught me how to create opportunities, bring people together, and make spaces in entrepreneurship and tech more accessible for those coming after me.
A FEW SIDE QUESTS ALONG THE WAY
Notable Achievements
Some of the most meaningful opportunities I’ve had have come from saying yes to things outside the usual path. From public speaking and community events to conferences, competitions, and invitations to learn from industry leaders, these experiences have helped me build confidence, meet remarkable people, and keep exploring where my interests can take me.
